—The distant mountains still rest on the horizon, while the tea before me is warm…
I once questioned the origins of heaven and earth,
And pondered what eternity might be;
Between good and evil, what is absolute?
Beyond all things, could there be something more?
My thoughts have wandered across countless mountains and rivers,
Yet never escaped the questions within;
One answer gives rise to another question,
Like ocean waves forever chasing waves.
One afternoon, I sit alone by the window,
Sunlight falls quietly upon the table;
A breeze passes through the half-drawn curtains,
A delicate fragrance rises from my cup of tea.
I lift this cup of warm tea,
Outside, the wind comes and goes, and tree shadows sway;
Could I cease pursuing the tranquility of thoughtlessness,
And remain unattached to the self that thinks?
Outside the window, clouds still drift,
The distant mountains in my heart rest upon the horizon;
I lift this cup of fragrant tea,
And drink in this moment of being alive.
也曾思索永恒的模样;
仍未走出心中的疑问;
阳光静静落在桌上;
窗外风来风去,树影摇晃;
心中的远山坐在天边;
